In this program, you learn how to handle cravings, improve self-control and change your habits for good by learning strategies that make self-control and behavior change easy and enjoyable.
You’ll learn how to:
- Make it easier to say “yes” to good choices and “no” to bad choices.
- Change your desire so you can change your cravings, behaviors and habits.
- Reset your hunger drives so you crave what’s good for you instead of bad.
These are my secrets to resisting temptation and staying in control so I can do what’s best for my body.
Within 3 phases, we explore how these strategies can help you follow the nutrition and wellness changes you want to make.
We meet online for 18 sessions, which takes 4-6 months to complete. I recommend taking a break ever 4 sessions to practice and reflect on the lessons we’ve covered.
If you did Masterful Clarity, we work on putting into practice the nutrition and wellness strategies you formulated in that program.
The 3 phases of creating control

Phase 1: Prepare for Action
In Phase 1, you determine where you are now, where you want to go and why you want to go there, which gets you mentally prepared for the changes you make in the next phase. This phase lasts 3-5 sessions.
We begin with the Wellness & Self-Control Intake. We cover your current state of health and your nutrition and wellness habits, as well as how you rate your current level of self-control and satisfaction with your current health habits. This is your benchmark to see where you are now and what needs to be improved upon to get you to where you want to be.
After we see where you are, we talk about where you want to go. You choose the specific habits you want to change or challenges with self-control you want to overcome.
It’s critical to choose the correct habits to follow–the ones that are healthy for you and that you want deep down. If you don’t truly want to live by a habit, or it isn’t healthy for you, then it may be impossible to follow. For example, you may want more self-control so you can eat only 1200 calories per day, but 1200 calories may not provide enough nourishment for your body so it wouldn’t be a healthy habit to form.
Next, we identify your reasons and motivations for change. Knowing your “why” and always keeping it top-of-mind is foundational for self-control and habit change. You have to know why certain behaviors are important to you so that you stick to them.
We also clear up any doubts or concerns you have that might impede your confidence and motivation to change.

Phase 2: Inform & Explore
In each session, I teach you one or two strategies to improve self-control and self-motivation, which you’ll practice and explore that week. These strategies allow you to stay on track with good habits, which includes how to:
- Stop or prevent food cravings.
- Increase your desire for healthy habits.
- Get back into a healthy routine if you fall off track.
There are 3 types of strategies:
- Physical: Nutrition and wellness activities to address the physical cause of cravings.
- Mental: Shifts in mindset to address the psychological cause of cravings.
- Practical: Tips and tricks to make healthy habits easier and more doable.
Through these strategies, you learn:
- Foods and other wellness activities that decrease cravings and increase self-control.
- Body connection exercises to attune to your true hunger and wellness needs.
- Mindsets that increase your desire and motivation for healthy behaviors.
- Mental tricks to stop cravings, regain control and follow healthy choices.
- Food swap ideas to replace unhealthy foods with healthier options.
- Tips to prep your meals and setup your environment to make healthy eating easy.
- Communication tips to politely set boundaries with others and say no to peer pressure.
- Positive self-talk to increase self-belief and decrease self-doubt.
- Methods to overcome the limiting beliefs that lower your motivation.

Phase 3: Formulate & Succeed
Once you’ve explored the self-control strategies and have found what works for you, you can create your Formula for Success, which includes your favorite strategies.
Phase 3 begins in the 2nd half of the program and overlaps with Phase 2, as you begin to identify the strategies that work for you and enjoy some great successes. We bring it all together in the final session, so you’ll be set up for more success moving forward into your future.
